Caring for Bidet Toilet Seats

You've taken the opportunity to upgrade your existing toilet to the freshness of personal cleansing. Take care of this valued addition with the appropriate cleaning solution.

General Guidance

FOR CLEANING & DEODORIZATION

To clean light soil from hard surfaces, dilute one-part product with seven parts water. Spray and wipe clean.

DISINFECTION & CLEANING

Spray area until it is covered with solution. Allow the product to penetrate and remain wet for 10 minutes. No scrubbing is necessary. Wipe off with a clean cloth, mop or sponge. The product will not leave grit or soap scum. For disinfection, remove heavy soil before treatment.

MOLD & MILDEWSTAT

Prevents and controls mold and mildew on hard non-porous pre-cleaned inanimate surfaces.

MILDEWSTAT

To control mold and mildew on hard non-porous surfaces, pre-clean surfaces, then spray the surfaces to be treated, making sure to wet completely. Let air dry. Repeat application at weekly intervals or when mildew growth appears.

BACTERICIDAL ACTIVITY

When used as directed this product exhibits effective disinfectant activity against the organisms: Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus aureus-Methicillin Resistant (MRSA), Salmonella choleraesuis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterococcus faecalis-Vancomycin Resistant (VRE), Staphylococcus aureus-Glycopeptide Resistant (GRSA), and Escherichia coli (0157:H7). Efficacy tests have demonstrated it to be an effective one-step cleaner-disinfectant in the presence of organic soil (5% blood serum).

Cleaning Tips

  • Do not allow abrasive chemicals and cosmetics (such as fingernail polish and aftershave) to come in contact with the toilet seat, as they can damage the finish.
  • The spray wands can only be extended for cleaning when the seat is not activated or occupied.
  • The filter screen should be cleaned once every six months or any time there is a drop in water pressure to the bidet wand.

Cleaning the Wand

  • Raise the cover and seat.
  • Press the “wand” icon on the panel to extend the spray wand forward for cleaning.
  • Clean the spray wand with a soft-bristled brush and hot water.
  • Press the “wand” icon on the panel again to retract the spray wand.

Cleaning the Filter Screen

  • Remove the seat.
  • Turn off the water supply at the supply stop.
  • Disconnect the water supply hose from the seat.
  • Using a long-nosed pliers, carefully remove the filter screen from the seat inlet.
  • Clean the filter screen with a soft-bristled brush.
  • Reinstall the filter screen.
  • Reinstall the seat.

IMPORTANT

  • Risk of product damage. Do no cross-thread the connection.
  • Reconnect the water supply hose to the seat.
  • Turn on the water supply.
  • Check all connections for leaks and make any adjustments as needed.
