Getting Started
Shower design and selection starts with considering your space and two major components—the water components (showerheads, handshowers, rainheads, body sprays, valves, and trim) and the structural components (the base, door, and built-in accessories).
- How much space do you have?
- Who will be using it? You'll likely make different decisions for a master bath versus a guest or kids' bathroom.
- Does anyone using the shower have mobility issues or do you want to design the shower to accommodate future mobility issues?
- How tall are the individuals who will be using the shower?
- Is this a refresh, remodel, or new build? The possibilities are greater with a new build or remodel versus a refresh.
- What type of spray do you prefer? Do you want a showerhead that accommodates multiple sprays?
- Do you want multiple spray components, such as a rainhead, handshower, body sprays, and/or steam?
- Are you looking to create an invigorating, spa-like showering experience?
