Creative inspirations await.

A celebration of art—designed for comfort.

Situated deep in the heart of the theatre and entertainment district of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, stands an impressive architectural celebration of the arts. A design of intention and purpose, the Saint Kate—The Arts Hotel is a remarkable tribute to its namesake Saint Catherine, the patron saint of artists.

An ode to the arts is seen throughout the property from the placement of instruments in its 219 unique and art-inspired guest rooms to the museum in the lobby.

Artfully designed.

Imaginative impact.

Creative Expressions

The theme of artistry was further promoted through the collaboration of Kohler and its Artist Editions® team and the Saint Kate and its design partners. The group cultivated two completely original and highly imaginative handmade sink designs, including the Veil™ sink, which conjures the beauty of written music with a custom black-and-white ribbon design created using a ceramic ink transfer technique. The Veil™ sink paired with the Matte Black finish of faucets and accessories from the Purist® collection create a harmonious symphony of style.

Inspiration throughout.

Kohler’s influence did not stop in the guest rooms but gracefully dances around the lobby bar through the use of artisan tiles which are handmade from manufacturing waste by the KOHLER WasteLAB®. The Crackle Collection tiles are made from landfill-bound foundry dust, pottery cull, and spilled enamel powder that has been generated at the Kohler manufacturing facilities in Wisconsin. The Crackle Collection allows specifiers and designers the ability to select a sustainable product without compromising on beauty and design.
