Installation Options

We offer multiple sink styles, each with a specific type of installation: top-mount, undermount, farmhouse, and wall-mount. Consider your kitchen cabinet size and what kitchen sink installation type will work best with your cabinet configuration.

Top-Mount Sinks

Top-mount sinks are the easiest sinks to install. Commonly installed with laminate countertops, top-mount sinks have a rim that extends above the countertop surface, so you don't need specialized mounting hardware or supports.

Undermount Sinks

Undermount sinks are mounted beneath your countertop for a seamless look and easy cleanup—just sweep debris off the counter and into the sink. They install with solid-surface, stone, and quartz countertops.

Farmhouse Sinks

Farmhouse sinks, also called apron-front sinks, are notable for their attractive front panel or apron. The short apron lets you install with conventional cabinetry, replacing the typical false drawer front beneath the sink.

Wall-Mount Sinks

Wall-mount sinks are mounted directly to the wall and do not require modifications to cabinetry. Paired with legs, wall-mount sinks have the look of a unique, hand-constructed piece of furniture.

Materials

Would you like a choice of gorgeous hues ranging from pale to powerful? Are you interested in a subtle matte finish, or do you have your heart set on the classic look of stainless steel? We'll help you decide.

Stainless Steel

KOHLER stainless steel sinks complement any kitchen and are incredibly rust- and stain-resistant. Our stainless steel is premium 18-gauge steel or better, preventing chipping and cracking. Hot pans won’t hurt them and they’re less likely than other sink materials to damage delicate dishware that may slip from your grip.

Every KOHLER stainless steel kitchen sink features SilentShield® sound-absorption technology, which significantly reduces noise from clanging dishes, running water, and garbage disposals.

Neoroc Composite Material

Beautiful and durable, Neoroc is built to last.

Neoroc sinks offer a warm matte finish designed to complement the visual texture of natural stone countertops. Exceptionally durable, Neoroc absorbs the impact of falling cookware and is scratch-, stain-, and chip-resistant, so it stands up to your day-to-day cooking and cleaning. Hot pots and pans won’t damage the surface.
